FAQ

Good questions.

What decking materials do you work with?

Composite, PVC and wood (pressure-treated and hardwoods). We’ll walk you through the pros and cons of each for your home, budget and maintenance preferences.

Can you repair my existing deck instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. If the framing is solid we can replace boards, railings and stairs. If the structure is failing, we’ll explain why a rebuild is the safer option.

Do I need a permit for a new deck?

Most new decks in Connecticut require a building permit. We’ll talk through the requirements for your town during your estimate.
